Program Info:
Sayaw PangKabataan focuses on teaching and providing awareness to kids about the beauty and richness of Philippine traditional folk dance (its distinct movements, its colorful origin and its deeper meaning). The workshop will be conducted by PhilCAS Performing Arts Group. In addition, registrants will have the opportunity to perform and be a part of MABUHAY, a PhilCAS’ annual fundraising event.
Teens starting from age 12 – 17 are also encouraged to participate in our national exchange program, funded in part by SEVEC (Society for Educational Visits and Exchanges in Canada).
Program Details:
Open to all Kids from ages 5 to 11 and Teens from ages 12-17.
Registration ongoing.
Program Duration:
Program runs for 20 weeks.
Dance Sessions: Fridays from 5:00 – 6:30 pm at the 3rd floor, Richmond Caring Place, cor. Granville & Minoru Blvd., Richmond, BC
